Working in conjunction with the Sports Turf Research Institute (STRI) and the Desert Group (Dubai) on a sub contractual basis to establish the Horse Racing track for the richest race in the World - The Saudi Cup

 

My role was to consult, advise and manage all aspects of the re-development, grow in and establishment of track, including track management and repair for all races held.  22 over a period of 4 weeks, including the Saudi Cup race days.

Time line was only 6 months to complete all tasks and provide the safest and highest quality horse racing turf track possible, in the middle of the desert.  The track would have some of the most expensive horses in the World racing on it.

The track actually went on to hold another 20 races after the Saudi Cup event was complete.  Perfect results were achieved with the highest quality track being produced in a record period of time.
